Description
Late 1900s, Chinese hardwood trunk. The rectangular hinged top has a deep fielded, panelled and central circular carving of Chinese motifs and a deep frieze with an engraved lock. The circular carvings and fielded panels design continue to the sides and front of the trunk. The interior is lined in camphor wood, with sliding trays, and it all stands on neat ogee bracket feet.
