Description
Circa 1930s, oak sectional bookcase by Globe Wernicke. With 4 tiers and a polished top which is stepped down and a simple moulded edge. At the front there are 4 glazed doors which taper from top to bottom and have the original bronzed copper knob handles. Globe Wernicke is stencilled on the back of each of the sections. The doors open and retract back into the body of the bookcase. Beneath the bottom door there is a small proud section and the bookcase stands on 4 square squat feet with a recessed section beneath them. The bookcase is in excellent condition.
