News That Will Make You Say, “WOW!”

We hope you are well! We cannot quite believe we are flying through June already. In case you missed our newsletter, we thought we best share our exciting news here too. Anahita Rigby, a London based architectural and interior designer, got in touch earlier in the year regarding sourcing antique smalls and smaller pieces of furniture to decorate her space for this years WOW!house at the Design Centre, Chelsea Harbour in London.

WOW!house is a prestigious design event showcasing the work of world-class interior designers across 19 full-size rooms and outdoor spaces. Anahita Rigby has designed the stunning ‘Study’ you will see in these images, and this quote from the Design Centre summarises the inspiration,

“Inspired byAnahita Rigby’s upbringing in the UK and Hong Kong and travels to Japan and the East, the design concept of this room is a reflection of a cross-cultural aesthetics, woven in amongst a story-telling narrative of world-wide travels and collected memories.

This is a space where Georgian proportions fuse with Japanese-inspired details, a study that engages every sense and fulfils a multitude of personal experiences. There is too, an element of romanticism and a unique type of warmth that will transport its visitor on a nostalgic journey through time.”

We were thrilled when she spotted pieces on our website, and later came to visit the warehouse where more unique items caught her eye. A range of pieces like Chinese plant stands, mirrors, series of books, ceramics, ornaments, a tea caddy, a jewelry box, a barometer, a lamp, a gong and a globe, have all made their way to London which are so perfectly nestled into Anahita Rigby’s design.

It is no surprise that this space has been featured in various articles, including in the Financial Times, House & Garden, The Telegraph, Homes & Gardens, and Architectural Digest. If you are London we would definitely recommend a visit to see the Study for yourselves.
